Men's Basic Profile

Why is this test important? The Men's Basic Profile is highly popular, largely because it screens for more than 50 different indicators of overall male wellness. In addition to a complete blood count profile, the men's profile also examines your overall testosterone levels, which are critical for sexual health and performance. The profile also includes a prostate specific antigen (PSA) screening, which is considered one of the most accurate methods to detect prostate cancer.

What does the test include?

Who should be tested? You should strongly consider testing if you are a man struggling with male infertility (low sperm count), low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, moodiness, loss of muscle tone or increased body fat. You should also consider testing if you have a family history of prostate cancer, heart disease, high cholesterol, liver disease or diabetes. Even if you are not exhibiting symptoms, this test is useful to establish a baseline for overall health and wellness.
